Software has your solution. BK Task Timer is a simple project timer
that pays for itself in "lost time". BK Task Timer works the same
under Macintosh OS X and Windows using the same data files or
database server.
Using the main window, choose a Project and choose a Task and hit
the Start Timer button. Hit the stop button when you are done. It's
that simple.
If you make a mistake (like forget to turn it on), you can edit any
time record or create a new one. The application keeps track of the
changes that you've made.

You can choose from a variety of reports. Select either a time
event listing or a summary listing and select a start and stop
date/times as well as Project and Task filters
